     Mary Adelaide Landsberg was the daughter of K. E. Landsberg.2 She married Captain Arthur Lenox Napier, son of John Warren Napier-Clavering and Anna Maria Margaret Helen Hunter, on 9 April 1941.1 She died on 8 May 1991.1
     From 9 April 1941, her married name became Napier.

Alan Bertram Napier1

     Alan Bertram Napier was born on 1 October 1867.1 He was the son of John Warren Napier-Clavering and Anna Maria Margaret Helen Hunter.2 He died on 20 August 1950 at age 82, unmarried.1
     He was educated at Rossall School, Fleetwood, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1889 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 In 1894 his name was legally changed to Alan Bertram Napier-Clavering.1 He was with the Indian Civil Service.1 His name was legally changed to Alan Bertram Napier. He was awarded the Kaisar-i-Hind medal.1

     Claude Gerald Napier-Clavering was born on 3 February 1869.1 He was the son of John Warren Napier-Clavering and Anna Maria Margaret Helen Hunter.2 He married Millicent Mary Kenrick, daughter of Rt. Hon. William Kenrick, on 31 July 1897.1 He died on 29 May 1938 at age 69.1

     Millicent Mary Kenrick was the daughter of Rt. Hon. William Kenrick.2 She married Claude Gerald Napier-Clavering, son of John Warren Napier-Clavering and Anna Maria Margaret Helen Hunter, on 31 July 1897.1 She died on 26 March 1932.1
     From 31 July 1897, her married name became Napier-Clavering.

     Mark Napier was born on 5 May 1898.1 He was the son of Claude Gerald Napier-Clavering and Millicent Mary Kenrick.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Sprigge, daughter of Sir Samuel Squire Sprigge, on 23 July 1921.1 He and Elizabeth Sprigge were divorced in 1945.1 He married, secondly, Frances Alice Turner, daughter of Dr. Henry Allen Turner, in 1946.1 He died in 1983.1
     He was given the name of Mark Napier-Clavering at birth.1 He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England.1 On 27 May 1924 his name was legally changed to Mark Napier by Deed Poll.1

     Sir Samuel Squire Sprigge wrote the book Castle in Andalusia.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)1 He was biographer of Gertrude Stein and Dame Sybil Thorndike.1 He was a novelist.1 He wrote the book The Raven's Wing.1 Sir Samuel Squire Sprigge usually went by his middle name of Squire.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1

     From 23 July 1921, her married name became Napier-Clavering. From 27 May 1924, her married name became Napier.
