     Henry M. Bond was born on 28 July 1786 at Cawnpore, India.1 He was the son of Charles James Bond and Eleanor Cadden.1 He married Emilia Lavinia Lund on 12 August 1826 at Cawnpore, India.1 He died on 8 February 1861 at age 74.1 He was buried at Abbey Cemetery, Bath, Somerset, England.1
     He gained the rank of Cornet on 25 May 1809 in the 17th Lancers.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant on 1 March 1811.1 He gained the rank of Captain on 6 May 1824.1 He gained the rank of Major on 27 November 1843.1 He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel on 11 November 1851.1
