     From 30 January 1918, her married name became MacLeod.

     Torquil Roderick MacLeod, 17th of Raasay was born on 25 June 1919.1 He was the son of Torquil Bright MacLeod, 16th of Raasay and Helen Christie Nicholas.2 He married Patricia Mary Lyttleton Turner, daughter of Harold Frederick Turner, on 30 April 1947.1 He died on 6 March 2001 at age 81.1
     Torquil Roderick MacLeod, 17th of Raasay usually went by his middle name of Roderick.1 He was educated at Geelong Grammer School, Geelong, Victoria, Australia.1 He fought in the Second World War, in the Pacific.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 40th Battalion, Australian Imperial Force.1 He was Chancellor of the Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania between 1962 and 1977.1 On 26 May 1981 he was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms as Chief of MacLeod of the Lewes.1 He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 11 September 1988.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 On 7 August 2000 he resigned Raasay in favour of his 2nd son.1
