Maria Macartney1

     Maria Macartney was the daughter of Sir John Macartney, 1st Bt. and Anne Scriven.2 She married Joseph Macartney, son of Reverend George Macartney.1 She died on 3 June 1869.1
     Her married name became Macartney.

     He lived at Holywood House, County Down, IrelandG.2

     From October 1855, her married name became Thompson.1

     Jane Hardman was the daughter of Edward Hardman and Rebecca McClintock.2,1 She married Very Rev. Hussey Burgh Macartney, son of Sir John Macartney, 1st Bt. and Catherine Hussey Burgh, on 7 March 1833.1 She died on 10 January 1885.1
     From 7 March 1833, her married name became Macartney.

     John Arthur Macartney was born on 5 April 1834.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Hussey Burgh Macartney and Jane Hardman.2 He married Annie Flora Dunlop, daughter of Alexander Cuningham Fairlie Wallace Dunlop, on 15 January 1861.1 He died in 1917.1
     He lived at Ormiston House, Ormiston, Queensland, Australia.1
