     Florence Mary McAlpine was born on 24 August 1922.¹ She is the daughter of Archibald Douglas McAlpine and Elizabeth Meg Sidebottom.² She married Peter Alexander MacDonell, son of Æneas Ranald Macdonell, 21st of Glengarry and Dorah Edith Hartford, on 16 May 1952.¹
     She was also known as Mary.² She gained the rank of 3rd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.¹ From 16 May 1952, her married name became Macdonell. She lived in 2003 at Rose Court, Fortrose, Ross-shire, Scotland^G.¹

     Peter Alexander MacDonell was born on 28 January 1917.² He was the son of Æneas Ranald Macdonell, 21st of Glengarry and Dorah Edith Hartford.² He married Florence Mary McAlpine, daughter of Archibald Douglas McAlpine and Elizabeth Meg Sidebottom, on 16 May 1952.¹ He died on 7 November 1986 at age 69.¹
     He was educated at Bryanston School, Blandford, Dorset, England.² He lived at Rose Court, Fortrose, Ross-shire, Scotland.²

     unknown son MacDonell was born on 26 July 1953.¹ He was the son of Peter Alexander MacDonell and Florence Mary McAlpine.² He died circa 1954, in infancy.¹

     Dr. Charlotte Anne MacDonell was born on 4 December 1954.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Alexander MacDonell and Florence Mary McAlpine.² She married Peter St. Clair Aston Maltin, son of Basil St. Clair Aston Maltin, on 7 September 1979.¹
     She graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, in 1972 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) (Hons.)¹ She graduated from Newcastle University, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England^G, in 1979 with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)² From 7 September 1979, her married name became Maltin. She lived in 2003 at Woodside Cottage, Keith Hall Estate, Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.²

     Peter St. Clair Aston Maltin is the son of Basil St. Clair Aston Maltin.² He married Dr. Charlotte Anne MacDonell, daughter of Peter Alexander MacDonell and Florence Mary McAlpine, on 7 September 1979.¹

     Charles Alexander Maltin was born on 15 February 1992.¹ He is the son of Peter St. Clair Aston Maltin and Dr. Charlotte Anne MacDonell.²

     Zoe Alexandra Maltin was born on 30 September 1987.¹ She is the daughter of Peter St. Clair Aston Maltin and Dr. Charlotte Anne MacDonell.²

     Maria Christian MacDonell was born on 15 January 1959.¹ She is the daughter of Peter Alexander MacDonell and Florence Mary McAlpine.²
