     Carolyn Anne Skyrme was born on 20 July 1940.1 She is the daughter of Sir William Thomas Charles Skyrme and Hon. Barbara Suzanne Lyle.2 She married Major Philip Norman Elston Holbrook, son of Sir Claude Vivian Holbrook, on 19 January 1966.1
     She was educated at Heathfield School, Ascot, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 She was educated at Paris, France.1 From 19 January 1966, her married name became Holbrook. She lived in 2003 at The Pond House, Well, Long Sutton, Hampshire, England.1

     Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt. was born on 17 October 1859.1 He was the son of Abram Lyle and Mary Park.2 He married Agnes Jamieson, daughter of William Jamieson, on 16 August 1882.1 He died on 11 July 1923 at age 63, without male issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the 1st Volunteer Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.1 He was chairman of Tate and Lyle.1 He was created 1st Baronet Lyle [U.K.] on 16 June 1915.1 He was President of the British Sugar Refiners' Association.1

     Agnes Jamieson was the daughter of William Jamieson.2 She married Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt., son of Abram Lyle and Mary Park, on 16 August 1882.1 She died on 14 October 1943.1
     From 16 August 1882, her married name became Lyle.
