Gertrude Agnes Lyle1

     Gertrude Agnes Lyle was the daughter of Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt. and Agnes Jamieson.2 She married, firstly, Major John Hendley Morrison Kirkwood, son of James Morrison Kirkwood and Isabel Gilberta Brockman, on 10 December 1902.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Hill Pattisson, son of William Henry Luard Pattisson, on 4 September 1924.1 She died on 28 July 1961.1
     From 10 December 1902, her married name became Kirkwood. From 4 September 1924, her married name became Pattisson.1

     Major John Hendley Morrison Kirkwood was baptised on 24 June 1877 at Gore Court, Otham, Kent, England.2 He was the son of James Morrison Kirkwood and Isabel Gilberta Brockman.3,2 He married Gertrude Agnes Lyle, daughter of Sir Robert Park Lyle, 1st and last Bt. and Agnes Jamieson, on 10 December 1902.1 He died on 7 February 1924 at age 46.
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1 He lived at Yeo Vale, Devon, England.4
