     Margaret Lushington was the daughter of Vernon Lushington and Jane Mowatt.2 She married Major Stephen Massingberd, son of Edmund Langton and Emily Caroline Langton Massingberd, on 18 July 1895 at Epsom, Surrey, England.1 She died on 11 September 1906, without issue.1
     From 18 July 1895, her married name became Massingberd.

Major Stephen Massingberd1

     Major Stephen Massingberd was born in 1869 at Barnack, Northamptonshire, England.2 He was the son of Edmund Langton and Emily Caroline Langton Massingberd.2 He married Margaret Lushington, daughter of Vernon Lushington and Jane Mowatt, on 18 July 1895 at Epsom, Surrey, England.1 He died on 21 May 1925.
     He was given the name of Stephen Langton at birth.2 In 1887 his name was legally changed to Stephen Massingberd by Royal Licence. He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Gunby Hall, Lincolnshire, England.1

     Susan Lushington was born circa 1871.1 She was the daughter of Vernon Lushington and Jane Mowatt.2 She died on 16 February 1953, unmarried.1
     She was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1943.1

     Sir Godfrey Lushington was born on 8 March 1832.1 He was the son of Stephen George Lushington and Sarah Grace Carr.2 He married Beatrice Anne Shore Smith, daughter of Samuel Smith, on 3 June 1865.1 He died on 5 February 1907 at age 74, without issue.1
     He was a practising barrister.1 He was Counsel with the Home Office between 1869 and 1876.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)1 He held the office of Assistant Under-Secretary, Home Office between 1876 and 1885.1 He held the office of Under-Secretary, Home Office between 1885 and 1895.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)1
