Anne Elizabeth Harris, daughter of George Harris, 1st Baron Harris and Anne Dickson, on 9 December 1797 at Belmont, Kent, England^G.² He died on 5 August 1868 at age 92.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)¹ He held the office of Junior Secretary of the Treasury between 7 January 1814 and 7 February 1823.² He held the office of Secretary of the Treasury between 7 February 1823 and 19 April 1827.² He held the office of Governor of Madras between 18 October 1827 and 25 October 1832.²
