     Mary Kent was the daughter of Sir Charles Kent, 1st Bt.¹ She married Sir John Hayford Thorold, 10th Bt., son of Sir John Thorold, 9th Bt. and Jane Hayford, on 1 October 1811.¹ She died in December 1829.¹
     From 1 October 1811, her married name became Thorold.

     Elizabeth Frances Thoroton-Hildyard was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Blackborne Thoroton-Hildyard.² She married Sir John Charles Thorold, 11th Bt., son of Sir John Hayford Thorold, 10th Bt. and Mary Kent, on 17 March 1841.¹ She died on 3 April 1894.¹
     From 17 March 1841, her married name became Thorold.

     Montague George Thorold was born on 22 August 1844.¹ He was the son of Sir John Charles Thorold, 11th Bt. and Elizabeth Frances Thoroton-Hildyard.² He married Emmeline Laura Bastard, daughter of John Pollexfen Pownall Wade Bastard and Anna Esther Ricarda, on 2 July 1881.¹ He died on 18 December 1920 at age 76.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹
