Charlotte Simpson Mercer1

     Charlotte Simpson Mercer was the daughter of Captain William Mercer.2 She married Robert Lockhart of Castle Hill, son of James Lockhart of Castle Hill and Mary Amelia Nisbet, on 30 June 1817.1 She died on 18 March 1869.1
     From 30 June 1817, her married name became Lockhart.1

     William Mercer Lockhart was born in 1818.1 He was the son of Robert Lockhart of Castle Hill and Charlotte Simpson Mercer.2 He died on 3 September 1850 at Wannan, New South Wales, Australia, drowned while trying to save another in a flooded river.3

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Graeme Sinclair-Lockhart of Castle Hill, 10th Bt. was born on 23 January 1820.1 He was the son of Robert Lockhart of Castle Hill and Charlotte Simpson Mercer.2 He married Emily Udny Brebner, daughter of James Brebner, in 1861.1 He died on 20 March 1904 at age 84, without issue.1
     He fought in the Persian Campaign.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 78th Regiment.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Sinclair [N.S., 1636] on 5 May 1899.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1

     Emily Udny Brebner was the daughter of James Brebner.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Graeme Sinclair-Lockhart of Castle Hill, 10th Bt., son of Robert Lockhart of Castle Hill and Charlotte Simpson Mercer, in 1861.1 She died on 18 June 1904.1
     She was a practising Advocate.1 From 1861, her married name became Sinclair-Lockhart.

Sir Robert Duncan Sinclair-Lockhart of Castle Hill, 11th Bt.1

     Sir Robert Duncan Sinclair-Lockhart of Castle Hill, 11th Bt. was born on 12 November 1859.1 He was the son of George Duncan Lockhart and Elizabeth Amanda Thomas.2 He married Flora Louisa Jane Beresford Nation Power, daughter of Captain Edward Henry Power, in 1895.1 He died on 7 November 1918 at age 58.1
     He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Sinclair [N.S., 1636] on 20 March 1904.1
