Sarah Sempill1

     Sarah Sempill was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Hugh Sempill, 12th Lord Sempill and Sarah Gaskell.2 She married Patrick Crawford of Auchinames and Drumsoy on 28 April 1750.1 She died on 25 April 1751.1
     From 28 April 1750, her married name became Crawford.

     He lived at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.1 He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He also had eight daughters.2

     Arthur Maitland Budgett was the son of Hubert Maitland Budgett.1 He married Patricia Ann Towers-Clark, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Tidswell Towers-Clark and Helen Frederica Elizabeth Foster Harter, on 3 January 1950.1 He died on 21 June 2011.2

     Hugh Sempill, 14th Lord Sempill was born on 1 July 1758.1 He was the son of John Sempill, 13th Lord Sempill and Janet Dunlop.2 He married Mary Mellish, daughter of Charles Mellish, on 25 January 1787.1 He died on 25 January 1830 at age 71.1
     He gained the rank of Ensign in 1777 in the 3rd Foot.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant and Captain in 1781.1 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Sempill [S., 1488] on 15 January 1782.1 In 1792 he was stripped of his commission for contact with French Jacobins.2

Selkirk Sempill, 15th Lord Sempill1

     Selkirk Sempill, 15th Lord Sempill was born on 12 February 1788.1 He was the son of Hugh Sempill, 14th Lord Sempill and Mary Mellish.2 He died on 4 May 1835 at age 47, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Renfrewshire Militia.1 He succeeded as the 15th Lord Sempill [S., 1488] on 25 January 1830.1
