Sir Walter Scott, 1st Bt. was born on 17 August 1826.1 He was the son of Samuel Scott and Mary Martin.2 He married, firstly, Ann Brough, daughter of John Brough, on 17 November 1853.1 He married, secondly, Helen Dykes, daughter of John Dykes, in January 1892.2 He died on 8 April 1910 at age 83.2
He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northumberland.1 He was created 1st Baronet Scott, of Beauclear, Bywell St. Andrews, co. Northumberland [U.K.] on 27 July 1907.1

Sir John Scott, 2nd Bt. was born on 23 August 1854.1 He was the son of Sir Walter Scott, 1st Bt. and Ann Brough.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Garbutt, daughter of Mark Garbutt, on 6 September 1882.1 He married, secondly, Emily Coates, daughter of Thomas Coates, in 1919.1 He died on 29 April 1922 at age 67, without issue.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Scott, of Beauclear, Bywell St. Andrews, co. Northumberland [U.K., 1907] on 8 April 1910.1
