     Lt.-Col. William Swynfen Whitehall Parker-Jervis was born on 27 August 1879.1 He was the son of William Robert Parker-Jervis and Ethel Mary Mainwaring.2 He died on 18 November 1936 at age 57.1
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.1 He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel War 1899 in the King's Royal Rifle Corps.1
