     Robert St. Leger Portal was born on 20 November 1892.1 He was the son of Sir William Wyndham Portal, 2nd Bt. and Florence Elizabeth Mary Glyn.2 He married Gwendoline Williams, daughter of Major Eustace Scott Williams, on 24 November 1920.1 He died on 20 July 1926 at age 33.1
     He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Rifle Brigade.1 His marriage to Gwendoline Williams was annulled in 1922.1

     Gwendoline Williams is the daughter of Major Eustace Scott Williams.2 She married Robert St. Leger Portal, son of Sir William Wyndham Portal, 2nd Bt. and Florence Elizabeth Mary Glyn, on 24 November 1920.1
     From 24 November 1920, her married name became Portal.1 Her marriage to Robert St. Leger Portal was annulled in 1922.1

     Margery Portal was the daughter of Sir William Wyndham Portal, 2nd Bt. and Florence Elizabeth Mary Glyn.2 She married, firstly, Major Thomas Geoffrey Rawstorne, son of Lawrence Rawstorne, on 24 July 1907.1 She married, secondly, Charles Henry Evan-Thomas, son of Charles Evan-Thomas, on 27 November 1918.1 She died on 12 December 1962, without issue.1
     From 24 July 1907, her married name became Rawstorne.1 From 27 November 1918, her married name became Evan-Thomas.1

     Major Thomas Geoffrey Rawstorne was the son of Lawrence Rawstorne.2 He married Margery Portal, daughter of Sir William Wyndham Portal, 2nd Bt. and Florence Elizabeth Mary Glyn, on 24 July 1907.1 He died on 31 July 1917, from wounds received in action.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Lancashire Hussars.1 He lived at Dolwen, Newbridge-on-Wye, Powys, Wales.1

     Sir Spencer John Portal, 4th Bt. was born on 14 May 1864.1 He was the son of Sir Wyndham Spencer Portal, 1st Bt. and Mary Jane Beach.2 He married Mary Laura Florence Mure, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Mure of Caldwell and Hon. Constance Elizabeth Wyndham, on 4 December 1890.1 He died on 25 November 1955 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Hampshire Yeomanry.1 He was first chairman (and later president) of the TSB Association.1 He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1928.1 He was vice-chairman of the Internat Thrift Institute between 1930 and 1931.1 He was director of the Royal Exchange Assurance.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Portal, of Malshanger, Church Oakley, co.
