Louisa Aldridge was the daughter of John Aldridge.2 She married Admiral Sir Francis John Hartwell, 1st Bt., son of Captain Brodrick Hartwell, on 27 January 1812.1 She died in 1843.1

Alicia Gunthorpe was born on 14 April 1815 at Antigua.2 She was the daughter of Reverend William Gunthorpe and Alicia Jackson.3,2 She married Sir Broderick Hartwell, 2nd Bt., son of Reverend Houlton Hartwell and Ruth Ball, on 28 October 1834.1 She died on 24 April 1859 at age 44.1

Sir Francis Houlton Hartwell, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 September 1835.1 He was the son of Sir Broderick Hartwell, 2nd Bt. and Alicia Gunthorpe.2 He married Emma Jane Dymoke, daughter of Sir Henry Dymoke, 1st and last Bt. and Emma Pearce, on 20 August 1861.1 He died on 26 September 1900 at age 65.1
He gained the rank of Captain in the 17th Regiment, (Crimean and Turkish medals).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Hartwell, of Dale Hall, Essex [U.K., 1805] on 11 December 1888.1

Emma Jane Dymoke was born on 11 February 1826.2 She was the daughter of Sir Henry Dymoke, 1st and last Bt. and Emma Pearce.2 She married Sir Francis Houlton Hartwell, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Broderick Hartwell, 2nd Bt. and Alicia Gunthorpe, on 20 August 1861.1 She died on 6 January 1922 at age 95.1
