Colonel Caledon Philip Egerton was born on 4 August 1846.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Caledon Richard Egerton and Margaret Cumming.2 He married Caroline Blanche Smith, daughter of Reverend Reginald Southwell Smith and Emily Genevieve Simpson, on 21 October 1884.1 He died on 4 October 1930 at age 84.1
He fought in the Mashsud Maziri Expedition in 1881, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Dorset Regiment.1 He was Colonel of the 39 Regiment District.1

Sir Philip Reginald Belward Grey Egerton, 14th Bt. was born on 3 September 1885.2 He was the son of Colonel Caledon Philip Egerton and Caroline Blanche Smith.2 He married, firstly, Dorothy Aveys Balguy, daughter of Brig.-Gen. John Henry Balguy and Mary Nicholson, on 15 January 1916.2 He married, secondly, Kathleen Crook, daughter of Peter Crook, on 11 October 1961.2 He died on 9 June 1962 at age 76.2
He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Shropshire Light Infantry.2 He was awarded the Order of the Nile 4th Class.2 He was with the Sudan Civil Service.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire in 1941.2 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Egerton, of Egerton and Oulton, co. Field Marshal Sir Charles Comyn Egerton was born on 10 November 1848.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Caledon Richard Egerton and Margaret Cumming.2 He married Anna Wellwood Hill, daughter of James Lawson Hill, on 7 August 1877.1 He died on 20 February 1921 at age 72.1
He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1891.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1904 in the 23rd Cavalry, Indian Army.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1904.1 He held the office of Member of the India Council between 1907 and 1917.1 Field Marshal.1
