     Reverend John Gabriel Ryde married Emmeline Forbes-Mitchell, daughter of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield, on 29 April 1851.1 He died on 7 December 1868.1
     He had 10 children.1

     Georgiana Mary Agnew Forbes-Mitchell was born on 13 March 1833.2 She was the daughter of Henry David Forbes-Mitchell of Balgownie and Margaret Fraser of Fraserfield.3 She was baptised on 12 April 1833 at Old Machar, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.2 She married Robert Spottiswood Farquhar Spottiswood of Muiresk on 24 December 1857.1 She died on 2 May 1905 at age 72.1
     From 24 December 1857, her married name became Spottiswood.

     James Edge was born circa 1753.2 He married Mary Anne Ferguson, daughter of Robert Ferguson, on 11 March 1813 at St. Dunstan's-in-the-East Church, London, EnglandG.2 He died on 9 April 1817 at Norfolk Street, The Strand, London, EnglandG.2
     He was admitted to Inner Temple.2 He was a practising solicitor.2

     From 1 January 1805, her married name became Forbes.

Arthur Forbes-Gordon of Rayne1

     Arthur Forbes-Gordon of Rayne was born on 2 June 1806.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Arthur Forbes and Isabella Macleod.2 He married Charlotte Balfour, daughter of Colonel William Balfour, on 20 April 1843.1 He died on 21 August 1873 at age 67.1
     He was given the name of Arthur Forbes at birth.1 In 1857 his name was legally changed to Arthur Forbes-Gordon on inheriting the Rayne estate from his cousin John Gordon of Avochie and Rayne, Aberdeenshire.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He lived at Rayne, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.3
