     Thomas Floyd was born in 1751.¹ He was the son of John Floyd and Mary Bate.² He died on 16 October 1778, aboard H.M.S. Conqueror off Sandy Hook, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹ In 1773 he served on the Arctic Expedition.¹

     Elizabeth Powys Floyd was born in 1752.¹ He was the son of John Floyd and Mary Bate.² He died on 11 April 1830, unmarried.¹

     Caroline Floyd was the daughter of John Floyd and Mary Bate.² She married John Christopher Ridout.¹ She died on 7 March 1821.¹
     Her married name became Ridout.

     John Christopher Ridout married Caroline Floyd, daughter of John Floyd and Mary Bate.¹ He died on 21 October 1817.¹
     He lived at Baughurst House, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Charles Darke was a Madras merchant.¹

     Rebecca Juliana Darke was the daughter of Charles Darke.² She married General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt., son of John Floyd and Mary Bate, on 29 January 1791.¹ She died on 3 February 1802.¹
     From 29 January 1791, her married name became Floyd.

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Floyd, 2nd Bt. was born on 2 September 1793.¹ He was the son of General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Juliana Darke.² He married Mary Murray, daughter of William Murray, on 30 August 1821.¹ He died on 4 March 1868 at age 74.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 10th Royal Hussars.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Floyd [U.K., 1816] on 10 January 1818.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to General William Clinton in Sicily and Spain.¹

     Miranda Floyd was the daughter of General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Juliana Darke.² She married Lt.-Gen. Sir Joseph Fuller on 18 November 1815.¹ She died on 23 September 1869.¹
     From 18 November 1815, her married name became Fuller.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Sir Joseph Fuller married Miranda Floyd, daughter of General Sir John Floyd, 1st Bt. and Rebecca Juliana Darke, on 18 November 1815.¹ He died in 1841.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 75th Regiment.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Hanoverian Order (G.C.H.)¹

     Cecilia Dorothea Reili Katharina Freiin von Erffa was born on 21 September 2007 at Munich, Bavaria, Germany^G.¹ She is the daughter of Stephan Egilmar Hartmann Freiherr von Erffa and Helen Elizabeth Eck von Schanzenbach.¹
