     Major Edward Lake is the son of Admiral Sir Willoughby Thomas Lake and Charlotte Macbride.2 He married Harriot Marion Goldingham, daughter of John Goldingham.1
     He gained the rank of Major.1

     Maj.-Gen. Edward John Lake was born on 19 June 1823.1 He was the son of Major Edward Lake and Harriot Marion Goldingham.2 He married Elizabeth Penrose Bewes, daughter of Thomas Bewes, on 11 July 1861.1 He died on 7 June 1877 at age 53, without surviving issue.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Engineers.1

     Elizabeth Penrose Bewes was the daughter of Thomas Bewes.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Edward John Lake, son of Major Edward Lake and Harriot Marion Goldingham, on 11 July 1861.1 She died on 12 August 1879.1
     From 11 July 1861, her married name became Lake.

Charlotte Louisa Lake1

     Charlotte Louisa Lake was born on 7 July 1822 at Madras, India.2 She was the daughter of Major Edward Lake and Harriot Marion Goldingham.3 She married Gordon Sullivan Forbes, son of Colonel Gordon Elliot Forbes and Eliza Agnew Brown, on 20 October 1841.1
     From 20 October 1841, her married name became Forbes.

     Gordon Sullivan Forbes was born circa 1820.2 He was the son of Colonel Gordon Elliot Forbes and Eliza Agnew Brown.2 He married Charlotte Louisa Lake, daughter of Major Edward Lake and Harriot Marion Goldingham, on 20 October 1841.1 He died circa 18 April 1893.2 He was buried on 21 April 1893 at Bitton, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2

     Maj.-Gen. Noel Thomas Lake was born on 22 October 1799.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Willoughby Thomas Lake and Charlotte Macbride.2 He was baptised on 23 November 1799 at All Saints, Edmonton, London, England.3 He married Elizabeth Apperley, daughter of Reverend Thomas Apperley, on 6 December 1832.1 He died on 19 May 1864 at age 64, without issue.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was awarded the Officer, Order of the Medjidie.1 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur.1
