     In 1545 he was graned a Government monopoly for the manufacture of gunpowder.1 He lived at Long Ditton, Surrey, EnglandG.1

Ann Boscawen1

     Ann Boscawen was the daughter of Edward Boscawen and Jael Godolphin.1 She married Sir John Evelyn, 1st Bt., son of John Evelyn and Martha Spencer, on 18 September 1705.2 She died in January 1751.1
