     Colonel Cecil Colvile Marindin was born on 6 July 1879 at Bhaugulpore, IndiaG.1 He was the son of Charles Randal Marindin and Rose Helen Drummond Jackson.1 He married Amy Victoria Richardson, daughter of Reverend William James Richardson, on 15 February 1908 at Krishnagar, Bengal, IndiaG.1 He died on 22 October 1932 at age 53 at IndiaG.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Tibet Campaign between 1903 and 1904.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre Italian.1 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1
