     William Edwardes, 1st Baron Kensington was born circa 1711.1 He was the son of Francis Edwardes and Lady Elizabeth Rich.1 He married Elizabeth Warren, daughter of William Warren, on 10 June 1762.1 He died on 13 December 1801.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haverfordwest between 1747 and 1784.2 He was created 1st Baron Kensington [Ireland] on 28 July 1776.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Haverfordwest between 1786 and 1801.2

     Elizabeth Warren was born circa 1733.1 She was the daughter of William Warren.2 She married William Edwardes, 1st Baron Kensington, son of Francis Edwardes and Lady Elizabeth Rich, on 10 June 1762.1 She died on 18 November 1814 at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, WalesG.1
     From 10 June 1762, her married name became Edwardes.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Warren was styled as Baroness Kensington on 28 July 1776.

     Thomas Knox, 3rd Earl of Ranfurly was born on 13 November 1816.1 He was the son of Thomas Knox, 2nd Earl of Ranfurly and Mary Juliana Stuart.2 He married Harriet Rimington, daughter of James Rimington and Sarah Ward, on 10 October 1848.1 He died on 20 May 1858 at age 41.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baron Welles of Dungannon, co. Tyrone [I., 1781] on 21 March 1858.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Ranfurly [I., 1831] on 21 March 1858.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Ranfurly of Ramphorlie, co. Renfrew [U.K., 1826] on 21 March 1858.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Northland of Dungannon, co. Tyrone [I., 1791] on 21 March 1858.1

     James Rimington was born in 1787.2 He was the son of John Rimington and Mary Wilson.3 He married Sarah Ward, daughter of Samuel Broomhead Ward and Hannah Watkinson, on 31 August 1817 at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.2 He died on 30 September 1839.3
     He was educated at Hipperholme School, Halifax, Yorkshire, EnglandG.3 He was admitted to Middle Temple entitled to practise as a barrister-at-law.3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1808 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1811 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)3 He lived at Broomhead Hall, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1

Harriet Rimington1

     Harriet Rimington was born on 26 November 1824.2,3 She was the daughter of James Rimington and Sarah Ward.4,2 She was baptised on 19 August 1828 at St. Peter Cathedral, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.2 She married Thomas Knox, 3rd Earl of Ranfurly, son of Thomas Knox, 2nd Earl of Ranfurly and Mary Juliana Stuart, on 10 October 1848.1 She died on 16 March 1891 at age 66.1 She was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery, Kensington, London, England.3
     From 10 October 1848, her married name became Knox. After her marriage, Harriet Rimington was styled as Countess of Ranfurly on 21 March 1858.

     Thomas Granville Henry Stuart Knox, 4th Earl of Ranfurly was born on 28 July 1849.1 He was the son of Thomas Knox, 3rd Earl of Ranfurly and Harriet Rimington.2 He died on 10 May 1875 at age 25 at AbyssiniaG, on a shooting expedition.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron Welles of Dungannon, co. Tyrone [I., 1781] on 20 May 1858.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Northland of Dungannon, co. Tyrone [I., 1791] on 20 May 1858.1 He succeeded as the 4th Earl pf Ranfurly [I., 1831] on 20 May 1858.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Ranfurly of Ramphorlie, co. Renfrew [U.K., 1826] on 20 May 1858.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.1
