     Emma Augusta Schreiber was the daughter of Charles Alfred Schreiber and Elizabeth Hester Hogan.1,2 She married, firstly, Frederic Bernard Astley, son of Lt.-Col. Francis L'Estrange Astley and Charlotte Micklethwait, on 4 October 1866.1 She married, secondly, Major L. M. Carmichael on 25 January 1879.2 She died in 1883.1
     From 4 October 1866, her married name became Astley.1 From 25 January 1879, her married name became Carmichael.2

     Charles Alfred Schreiber was born on 6 January 1816.2 He was the son of William Frederick Schreiber and Frances Mary Shuldham.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Hester Hogan, daughter of Owen Hogan, on 19 August 1845.2 He married, secondly, Rosa Alexandrina Thomson, daughter of John Robert Thomson, on 11 October 1866.2 He died on 29 March 1879 at age 63.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 34th Regiment.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Suffolk.2 He lived at The Roundwood, Ipswich, Suffolk, England.2

     W/Cdr. John Shuldham Schreiber was born on 30 August 1901.1 He was the son of Charles Shuldham Schreiber and Hon. Margaret Henderson.1 He married Constance Maureen Dent, daughter of Charles Hastings Dent, on 26 June 1930.1 He died on 7 June 1968 at age 66.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He gained the rank of officer in 1926 in the Auxiliary Air Force.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in 1941 in the Royal Air Force.1 He was Air Attaché
to Lisbon between 1941 and 1944.1 He held the office of Member of the East Suffolk County Council in 1944.1 He was awarded the Air Efficiency Award (A.E.)1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Suffolk in 1963.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Suffolk in 1964.1

Margaret Henderson was born on 6 April 1879.2 She was the daughter of Alexander Henderson, 1st Baron Faringdon and Jane Ellen Davis.1,2 She married Charles Shuldham Schreiber, son of Charles Alfred Schreiber and Rosa Alexandrina Thomson, on 10 November 1900.1 She died on 11 July 1946 at age 67.2
     From 10 November 1900, her married name became Schreiber.1
