     Elizabeth de la Pole was the daughter of Michael de la Pole, 2nd Earl of Suffolk and Lady Katherine de Stafford.2,3 She married, firstly, Edward Burnell, son of Sir Hugh Burnell, 2nd Lord Burnell.1 She married, secondly, Sir Thomas Kerdeston circa 1425.2 She died before April 1440.1
     Her married name became Burnell.1 From circa 1425, her married name became Kerdeston.2

     Very Rev. George Fielden MacLeod, Baron MacLeod of Fuinary was born on 17 June 1895.2 He was the son of Sir John Mackintosh MacLeod, 1st Bt. and Edith Fielden.3 He married Lorna Helen Janet MacLeod, daughter of Reverend Donald MacLeod, on 28 August 1948.2 He died on 27 June 1991 at age 96.1
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in 1914 in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1917.2 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre in 1918 avec palmes.2 He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1919 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)2 He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)1 He was Minister between 1930 and 1938 at Govan Parish, Govan, Lanarkshire, Scotland.2 He was Leader of the Iona Community between 1938 and 1967.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet MacLeod, of Fuinary, Morven, co. Argyll [U.K., 1924] in April 1944.4 He was Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland between 1957 and 1958.2 He was created Baron MacLeod of Fuinary, of Fuinary in Morven in the County of Argyllshire [U.K. Life Peer] on 6 February 1967.1
