Commander William Vesey Hamilton Harris1

     Commander William Vesey Hamilton Harris was born circa 1891.2 He was the son of Admiral Sir Robert Hastings Penruddock Harris and Florence Cordelia Henn-Gennys.2 He married Ethel Laura Cunliffe, daughter of Colonel Ernest William Cunliffe and Mary Adeline Limond, in 1917.1 He died in 1949.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1

     From 1920, her married name became Smith.

     William Lockhart Cunliffe was born on 5 February 1902.1 He was the son of Colonel Ernest William Cunliffe and Isabella Fergusson Bradford.2 He married Maude Ethel Suthers, daughter of Henry Suthers, on 21 October 1923.1 He died in 1982.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War in 1918, with the Grenadier Guards.1 He was chairman of International Standard Brands, Inc. at New York, U.S.A.G.1
