     Commander William Vesey Hamilton Harris was born circa 1891.² He was the son of Admiral Sir Robert Hastings Penruddock Harris and Florence Cordelia Henn-Gennys.² He married Ethel Laura Cunliffe, daughter of Colonel Ernest William Cunliffe and Mary Adeline Limond, in 1917.¹ He died in 1949.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)¹

     Thelma Clemence Cunliffe was born in 1890.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel Ernest William Cunliffe and Mary Adeline Limond.² She married Lt.-Col. Colin Walter Johnstone Smith, son of Johnstone Smith, in 1920.¹ She died on 4 January 1953.¹
     From 1920, her married name became Smith.
