     Harriet Herring was born on 18 May 1750 at Lambeth Palace, Lambeth, London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of William Herring and Montague Dorothy Dawson.1,2 She married Sir Francis Baring, 1st Bt., son of John Baring and Elizabeth Vowler, on 12 May 1767 at St. John Baptist, Croydon, Surrey, EnglandG.2,3 She died on 3 December 1804 at age 54 at Bath, Somerset, EnglandG.2 She was buried at Micheldever, Hampshire, EnglandG.2
     Her married name became Baring.

Sir Thomas Baring, 2nd Bt.1

     Sir Thomas Baring, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 June 1772.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Baring, 1st Bt. and Harriet Herring.1 He was baptised at St. Margaret's, Pattens, London, EnglandG.1 He married Mary Ursula Sealy, daughter of Charles Sealy, on 13 September 1794 at Calcutta, IndiaG.1 He died on 3 April 1848 at age 75 at Stratton Park, Micheldever, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 He was buried at Micheldever, Hampshire, EnglandG.2 His will was proven (by probate) in May 1848.2
     He was in the Honourable East India Company Service between 1790 and 1801.2 He was a partner in Barings Brothers at London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wycombe between 1806 and 1832.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Baring, of London [G.B., 1793] on 12 September 1810.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hampshire between June 1832 and December 1832.1 He lived at Stratton Park, Micheldever, Hampshire, EnglandG.1
     He "was best known for his fine taste in art and his magnificent collection of pictures."2

William Baring1

     William Baring was born on 12 August 1779.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Baring, 1st Bt. and Harriet Herring.1 He married Frances Poulett-Thomson, daughter of John Buncombe-Poulett-Thomson, on 19 July 1810.1 He died on 9 July 1820 at age 40.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)1

Frances Poulett-Thomson1

     Frances Poulett-Thomson was the daughter of John Buncombe-Poulett-Thomson.1 She married, firstly, William Baring, son of Sir Francis Baring, 1st Bt. and Harriet Herring, on 19 July 1810.1 She married, secondly, Arthur Eden, son of Thomas Eden and Mariana Jones, in 1824.1 She died on 25 March 1877.2
     Her married name became Baring. From 1824, her married name became Eden.3

     Pamela Anne Barnardo is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Adolphus Fleming Barnardo.1 She married, firstly, Lt.-Cdr. Michael John Baring, son of Major Dudley William Baring and Cecilia Mary Gray-Buchanan, on 19 January 1946.1 She married, secondly, Captain John Ridgway Berridge Longdon, son of Vice-Admiral Horace Walker Longdon, on 26 January 1959.1
     She gained the rank of officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.1 Her married name became Baring. From 26 January 1959, her married name became Longdon.1

     Major Dudley William Baring was born on 9 May 1892 at Marylebone, London, England.1,2 He was the son of Major Francis Charles Baring and Isabella Augusta Schuster.1 He married Cecilia Mary Gray-Buchanan, daughter of Lt.-Col. Michael Rowand Gray-Buchanan, on 10 April 1919.1 He died on 11 January 1952 at age 59 at Chichester, Sussex, England.3,2
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Hampshire Regiment.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He fought in the North-West Frontier in 1919.1 He fought in the Third Afghan War in 1919.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1

     Cecilia Mary Gray-Buchanan was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Michael Rowand Gray-Buchanan.1 She married Major Dudley William Baring, son of Major Francis Charles Baring and Isabella Augusta Schuster, on 10 April 1919.1 She died in August 1971.1
     From 10 April 1919, her married name became Baring.1
