     Hon. Emma Selina Portman was born on 5 April 1863.2 She was the daughter of William Henry Berkeley Portman, 2nd Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Hon. Mary Selina Charlotte FitzWilliam.1,2 She married Ronald Ruthven Leslie-Melville, 13th Earl of Leven, son of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Sophia Thornton, on 7 May 1885.1 She died on 1 March 1941 at age 77.1
     From 7 May 1885, her married name became Leslie-Melville.1 After her marriage, Hon. Emma Selina Portman was styled as Countess of Leven and Melville on 22 October 1889.

     John David Leslie-Melville, 14th Earl of Leven was born on 5 April 1886.1 He was the son of Ronald Ruthven Leslie-Melville, 13th Earl of Leven and Hon. Emma Selina Portman.1 He died on 11 June 1913 at age 27, unmarried.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Lovat Scouts Yeomanry.1 He succeeded as the 11th Viscount of Kirkcaldy [S., 1690] on 21 August 1906.2 He succeeded as the 11th Lord Raith, Monymaill and Balwearie [S., 1690] on 21 August 1906.2 He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Melville [S., 1690] on 21 August 1906.2 He succeeded as the 14th Earl of Leven [S., 1641] on 21 August 1906.2 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Melville of Monymaill [S., 1616] on 21 August 1906.2 He succeeded as the 14th Lord Balgonie [S., 1641] on 21 August 1906.2 He held the office of Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1910 and 1913.1

     Alexander Leslie-Melville, 12th Earl of Leven was born on 11 January 1817.1 He was the son of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Harriet Thornton.1 He died on 22 October 1889 at age 72, unmarried.1

     Her married name became Williams.

     Robert Williams was born on 23 January 1811.2 He was the son of Robert Williams and Frances Turner.2 He married, firstly, Mary Anne Cunningham, daughter of Reverend John William Cunningham, on 7 September 1847. He married, secondly, Lady Emily Maria Leslie-Melville, daughter of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Harriet Thornton, on 18 November 1858.1 He died on 7 June 1890 at age 79. He died, He also had three daughters (died young or unmarried).2
     He was a banker.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Dorset in 1855.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Dorchester.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.2 He lived at Bridehead, Dorset, EnglandG.1

     Mary Anne Cunningham was the daughter of Reverend John William Cunningham.1 She married Robert Williams, son of Robert Williams and Frances Turner, on 7 September 1847. She died on 1 September 1855.
     Her married name became Williams.

     Sir Robert Williams, 1st Bt. was born on 15 June 1848.2 He was the son of Robert Williams and Mary Anne Cunningham.3 He married Rosa Walker Simes, daughter of Nathaniel Simes, on 7 September 1869.2 He died on 15 April 1943 at age 94.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for West Dorset between 1895 and 1922.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Dorset Regiment.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)2 He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers' Decoration (V.D.)2 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He was Chairmam of Public Accounts Committee between 1907 and 1919.2 He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.2 He was director of Williams Deacon's Bank.2 He was created 1st Baronet Williams, of Brideshead, Dorset [U.K.] on 9 February 1915.2

     Lady Julia Louisa Leslie-Melville was the daughter of John Thornton Leslie-Melville, 11th Earl of Leven and Harriet Thornton.2,1 She married Lt.-Gen. Robert Richardson-Robertson, son of James Richardson and Elizabeth Stewart, on 29 March 1869.1 She died on 24 October 1870.1
     From 29 March 1869, her married name became Richardson-Robertson.1
