     Elizabeth Sandes is the daughter of Thomas William Sandes and Margaret Chute.^2,3 She married Pierce Crosbie, son of Colonel James Crosbie and Elizabeth Bateman, on 27 October 1831.¹
     From 27 October 1831, her married name became Crosbie. She who eloped to the Continent with a groom (having previously bestowed her favours on stable-lads) shortly after marrying Mr Crosbie.¹ All trace of her was lost and it took her husband 15 years to get an order presuming her deceased.¹

     George Holmes married Lucy Hamilton, daughter of William Hamilton.¹
     He lived at New Hall, County Kildare, Ireland^G.¹

     Margaret Catherine Crosbie was the daughter of Pierce Crosbie and Elizabeth Sandes.² She married Meade Caulfield Dennis, son of Thomas Stratford Dennis and Katherine Martha Maria Saunders, on 4 January 1855.¹ She died on 6 February 1886.¹
     From 4 January 1855, her married name became Dennis.

     David Kelly Guthrie is the son of Reverend Thomas Guthrie and Anne Burns.¹ He married Hannah Kirk.¹

     William Wren Crosbie was the son of Pierce Crosbie and Margaret Wren.² He died on 18 April 1875, unmarried.¹

     Pierse Crosbie was born on 15 March 1842.¹ He was the son of Pierce Crosbie and Margaret Wren.² He married Elizabeth Margaret Letitia McClellan, daughter of Thomas McClellan, on 26 October 1875.¹ He died on 4 March 1907 at age 64.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 7th Royal Fusiliers.¹ He lived at Castle House, Greencastle, County Donegal, Ireland^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Walter McClellan Crosbie was born on 25 September 1878.¹ He was the son of Pierse Crosbie and Elizabeth Margaret Letitia McClellan.² He married Honor Alice O'Brien, daughter of Very Rev. Lucius Henry O'Brien and Emily Mary Hannah Montgomery, on 2 June 1909.¹ He died on 2 April 1951 at age 72.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Lancashire Fusiliers and Royal Munster Fusiliers.¹ He lived at Danesfort, Dalwood, Axmnster, Devon, England^G.¹

     Very Rev. Lucius Henry O'Brien was born on 13 August 1842.² He was the son of Hon. William Smith O'Brien and Lucy Caroline Gabbett.³ He married Emily Mary Hannah Montgomery, daughter of Richard Thomas Montgomery, on 30 May 1872.² He died on 25 September 1913 at age 71.²
     He held the office of Dean of Limerick.¹
