Elizabeth Sandes1

     Elizabeth Sandes is the daughter of Thomas William Sandes and Margaret Chute.2,3 She married Pierce Crosbie, son of Colonel James Crosbie and Elizabeth Bateman, on 27 October 1831.1
     From 27 October 1831, her married name became Crosbie. She who eloped to the Continent with a groom (having previously bestowed her favours on stable-lads) shortly after marrying Mr Crosbie.1 All trace of her was lost and it took her husband 15 years to get an order presuming her deceased.1

Margaret Catherine Crosbie1

     Margaret Catherine Crosbie was the daughter of Pierce Crosbie and Elizabeth Sandes.2 She married Meade Caulfield Dennis, son of Thomas Stratford Dennis and Katherine Martha Maria Saunders, on 4 January 1855.1 She died on 6 February 1886.1
     From 4 January 1855, her married name became Dennis.

     Pierse Crosbie was born on 15 March 1842.1 He was the son of Pierce Crosbie and Margaret Wren.2 He married Elizabeth Margaret Letitia McClellan, daughter of Thomas McClellan, on 26 October 1875.1 He died on 4 March 1907 at age 64.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 7th Royal Fusiliers.1 He lived at Castle House, Greencastle, County Donegal, IrelandG.1

     Lt.-Col. Walter McClellan Crosbie was born on 25 September 1878.1 He was the son of Pierse Crosbie and Elizabeth Margaret Letitia McClellan.2 He married Honor Alice O'Brien, daughter of Very Rev. Lucius Henry O'Brien and Emily Mary Hannah Montgomery, on 2 June 1909.1 He died on 2 April 1951 at age 72.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Lancashire Fusiliers and Royal Munster Fusiliers.1 He lived at Danesfort, Dalwood, Axmnster, Devon, EnglandG.1

     Very Rev. Lucius Henry O'Brien was born on 13 August 1842.2 He was the son of Hon. William Smith O'Brien and Lucy Caroline Gabbett.3 He married Emily Mary Hannah Montgomery, daughter of Richard Thomas Montgomery, on 30 May 1872.2 He died on 25 September 1913 at age 71.2
     He held the office of Dean of Limerick.1
