     John Roseberry Monson, 10th Baron Monson of Burton was born on 11 February 1907.1 He was the son of Augustus John Debonnaire Monson, 9th Baron Monson of Burton and Romaine Stone.1 He married Bettie Northrup Powell, daughter of Colonel E. Alexander Powell, on 4 August 1931.1 He died on 7 April 1958 at age 51.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1929 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1931 entitled to practise as a barrister.1 He was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)1 He succeeded as the 10th Baron Monson of Burton, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1728] on 10 October 1940.1 He succeeded as the 14th Baronet Monson, of Carlton [E., 1611] on 10 October 1940.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.1

     Bettie Northrup Powell was the daughter of Colonel E. Alexander Powell.1 She married, firstly, John Roseberry Monson, 10th Baron Monson of Burton, son of Augustus John Debonnaire Monson, 9th Baron Monson of Burton and Romaine Stone, on 4 August 1931.1 She married, secondly, Captain James Arnold Phillips on 12 February 1962.1 She died on 9 June 2011 at Guernsey, Channel IslandsG.2
     From 4 August 1931, her married name became Monson. After her marriage, Bettie Northrup Powell was styled as Baroness Monson of Burton on 10 October 1940. From 12 February 1962, her married name became Phillips.

     Charles Henry Dillon-Lee, 14th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin was born on 20 April 1810 at Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG.1 He was the son of Henry Augustus Dillon-Lee, 13th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Henrietta Browne.1 He married Lydia Sophia Story, daughter of Philip Laycock Story and Lydia Baring, on 1 February 1833 at Tusmore House, Tusmore, Oxfordshire, EnglandG. He died on 18 November 1865 at age 55, without surviving male issue.1
     He succeeded as the 14th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin, co. Mayo [I., 1622] on 24 July 1832.1 He gained the rank of officer in the Scots Fusiliers Guards.1

Lydia Sophia Story1

     Lydia Sophia Story was the daughter of Philip Laycock Story and Lydia Baring.1 She married Charles Henry Dillon-Lee, 14th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin, son of Henry Augustus Dillon-Lee, 13th Viscount Dillon of Costello-Gallin and Henrietta Browne, on 1 February 1833 at Tusmore House, Tusmore, Oxfordshire, EnglandG. She died on 4 November 1876.
     After her marriage, Lydia Sophia Story was styled as Viscountess Dillon of Costello-Gallin on 1 February 1833. From 1 February 1833, her married name became Dillon-Lee.
