John Osmael Scott-Ellis, 9th Lord Howard de Walden1

     John Osmael Scott-Ellis, 9th Lord Howard de Walden was born on 27 November 1912 at London, EnglandG.3 He was the son of Thomas Evelyn Scott-Ellis, 8th Lord Howard de Walden and Margherita van Raalte.3 He married, firstly, Irene Gräfin von Harrach, daughter of Hans-Albrecht Graf von Harrach and Helene Gräfin von und zu Arco-Zinneberg, on 21 August 1934.3 He married, secondly, Gillian Margaret Buckley, daughter of Cyril Francis Stewart Buckley and Audrey Burmester, in 1978.3 He died on 9 July 1999 at age 86.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.3 He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1934 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He gained the rank of Major in the Westminster Dragoons (Territorial Army.)3 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Howard de Walden [E., 1597] on 5 November 1946.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Seaford of Seaford [U.K., 1826] on 5 November 1946.3 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.) in 1953.3 He was director of Howard de Walden Estates Ltd, Alliance Assurances and Sun Alliance and London Insurance.3 On his death, the baroney fell into abeyance between his daughters until 2004.1

     Irene Gräfin von Harrach was born in 1910 at TiefhartmannsdorfG. She was the daughter of Hans-Albrecht Graf von Harrach and Helene Gräfin von und zu Arco-Zinneberg. She married John Osmael Scott-Ellis, 9th Lord Howard de Walden, son of Thomas Evelyn Scott-Ellis, 8th Lord Howard de Walden and Margherita van Raalte, on 21 August 1934.1 She died on 17 January 1975 at Richmond, Surrey, EnglandG.1
     Irene Gräfin von Harrach also went by the nick-name of Nucci. Her married name became Scott-Ellis. After her marriage, Irene Gräfin von Harrach was styled as Baroness Seaford of Seaford on 5 November 1946.

Bronwen Mary Scott-Ellis was born on 27 November 1912 at London, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of Thomas Evelyn Scott-Ellis, 8th Lord Howard de Walden and Margherita van Raalte.1,2 She married Hon. James Louis Lindsay, son of David Alexander Edward Lindsay, 27th Earl of Crawford and Constance Lilian Pelly, on 26 April 1933.2 She died on 1 December 2003 at age 91.3
     Her married name became Lindsay. She lived in 2003 at Sutton Manor, Sutton Scotney, Hampshire, England.2

     Hon. Elisabeth Gwendolen Scott-Ellis was born on 5 December 1914.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Evelyn Scott-Ellis, 8th Lord Howard de Walden and Margherita van Raalte.2 She married Lt.-Cdr. Count Serge Orloff-Davidoff, son of Count Alexis Orloff-Davidoff, on 24 July 1935.1 She married, secondly, Bernard Wheeler Robinson, son of Dr. Henry Wheeler Robinson, on 31 October 1959.1 She died on 3 May 1976 at age 61.1
     From 24 July 1935, her married name became Orloff-Davidoff. From 31 October 1959, her married name became Robinson.

     Lt.-Cdr. Count Serge Orloff-Davidoff was born in 1905.2 He was the son of Count Alexis Orloff-Davidoff.1 He married Hon. Elisabeth Gwendolen Scott-Ellis, daughter of Thomas Evelyn Scott-Ellis, 8th Lord Howard de Walden and Margherita van Raalte, on 24 July 1935.1 He died on 12 August 1945, killed in a car accident.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve.1
