Sir Dyce Duckworth, 1st Bt. was born on 24 November 1840 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.1,2 He was the son of Robinson Duckworth and Elizabeth Forbes Nicol.3 He was baptised on 28 February 1841 at St. Bride's Church, Liverpool, Lancashire, England.2 He married, firstly, Annie Alicia Hopkins, daughter of Alexander Hopkins, on 26 April 1870.1 He married, secondly, Ada Emily Fuller, daughter of George Arthur Fuller and Georgiana Craven Loraine-Smith, on 4 November 1890.1 He died on 20 January 1928 at age 87.1
