     Guy Carleton Colclough was born on 3 August 1787.¹ He was the son of Beauchamp Colclough and Katherine Crawford.² He married Elizabeth Crampe, daughter of Samuel Crampe, on 29 September 1808.¹ He died on 16 November 1837 at age 50 at Sorel, Quebec, Canada.^1,3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 103rd Regiment.¹ He fought in the War of 1812, where he was wounded and taken prisoner at the storming of Fort Erie.⁴

     Samuel Crampe lived at Mallow, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹
