Mary Spence1

     Mary Spence was the daughter of Thomas Spence.1 She married Henry Thompson, son of John Thompson and Elizabeth Croft, on 30 January 1769.1 She died on 23 April 1843.1
     From 30 January 1769, her married name became Thompson.1

     Mary Thompson was the daughter of John Thompson and Elizabeth Croft.2,3 She married Childers Walbanke-Childers, son of William Walbanke and Mildred Childers.1 She died in 1773.1
     Her married name became Childers.1 Her married name became Walbanke-Childers.

     Leonard Walbanke Walbanke-Childers was born between 1768 and 1769.1 He was the son of Childers Walbanke-Childers and Mary Thompson.2 He married Sarah Anne Kent, daughter of Sir Charles Kent, 1st Bt..1 He died on 24 January 1826.1
     He was a banker at Doncaster, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 He also had three other sons and five daughters, who all died unmarried.1

Colonel Michael Walbanke-Childers1

     Colonel Michael Walbanke-Childers was the son of Childers Walbanke-Childers and Sarah Fowler.2 He died in 1854.1
     In 1799 he served at Helder.1 He fought in the Peninsular Wars between 1811 and 1814.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo in 1815, Brigade Major to Sir John Vandeleur.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 11th Light-Dragoons.1 He fought in the Capture of Bhustpoor in 1826, commander of the Cavalry Brigade.1
