     Colonel Bernard Miles Byrne was born on 19 October 1852.¹ He was the son of Bernard Miles Byrne and Louisa Matlack Abert.² He married Bertha Rose Barnitz, daughter of Colonel Albert Barnitz, on 11 February 1892.¹ He died on 28 February 1910 at age 57.¹

     Bernice Tippett Byrne was born on 24 April 1940.¹ She is the daughter of Colonel Bernard Abert Byrne.² She married Fredric Michael Trevitt on 26 November 1960.¹
     From 26 November 1960, her married name became Trevitt.
