     Charles Francis Meade was born on 25 February 1881.1 He was the son of Hon. Sir Robert Henry Meade and Caroline Georgiana Grenfell.2 He married Lady Aileen Hilda Brodrick, daughter of William St. John Freemantle Brodrick, 1st Earl of Midleton and Lady Hilda Charteris, on 26 September 1913.1 He died on 11 January 1975 at age 93.1
     He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Surrey Yeomanry.1 He was commander of the 5th Montgomeryshire Battalion, Home Guard.1 He wrote the book Approach to the Hills and High Mountains.1

     William Brodrick, 8th Viscount Midleton of Midleton was born on 6 January 1830.2 He was the son of Reverend William John Brodrick, 7th Viscount Midleton of Midleton and Hon. Harriet Brodrick.1 He married Hon. Augusta Mary Fremantle, daughter of Thomas Francis Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe and Louisa Elizabeth Nugent, on 25 October 1853.2 He died on 18 April 1907 at age 77.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.2 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was a practising barrister.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Mid-Surrey between 1868 and 1870.2 He succeeded as the 8th Viscount Midleton of Midleton, co. Augusta Mary Fremantle was the daughter of Thomas Francis Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe and Louisa Elizabeth Nugent.1 She married William Brodrick, 8th Viscount Midleton of Midleton, son of Reverend William John Brodrick, 7th Viscount Midleton of Midleton and Hon. Harriet Brodrick, on 25 October 1853.1 She died on 1 June 1903.1
     Her married name became Brodrick. After her marriage, Hon. Augusta Mary Fremantle was styled as Viscountess Midleton of Midleton on 29 August 1870.

     Thomas Francis Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe was born on 11 March 1798.1 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Francis Fremantle and Elizabeth Wynne.1 He married Louisa Elizabeth Nugent, daughter of Field Marshal Sir George Nugent, 1st Bt. and Maria Skinner, on 24 November 1824.1 He died on 3 December 1890 at age 92.2
     He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Fremantle [Austrian Empire, 1816] on 19 December 1819.1 He had a royal licence for himself and his sons to use his father's Austrian title.1 He was created 1st Baronet Fremantle, of Swanbourne and Hardwick, co. Buckingham [U.K.] on 14 August 1821, with a special remainder to the heirs male of his father.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Buckingham between 1827 and 1846.1 He held the office of Secretary of the Treasury between 1834 and 1835.1 He held the office of Secretary of the Treasury between 1841 and 1845.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1844.1 He lived between 1844 and 1845 Secretary of War.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)      Louisa Elizabeth Nugent was born on 8 September 1803.2 She was the daughter of Field Marshal Sir George Nugent, 1st Bt. and Maria Skinner.1,3 She married Thomas Francis Fremantle, 1st Baron Cottesloe, son of Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Francis Fremantle and Elizabeth Wynne, on 24 November 1824.1 She died on 17 August 1875 at age 71, from accidental poisoning.1
     From 24 November 1824, her married name became Fremantle. After her marriage, Louisa Elizabeth Nugent was styled as Baroness Cottesloe on 2 March 1874.
