John Kaye Booth1

     John Kaye Booth was born in 1778.1 He was the son of William Booth and Sarah Kaye.1 He married, firstly, Maria Hadley, daughter of Thomas Hadley, on 2 November 1822.1 He married, secondly, Adele Mary Galton, daughter of Samuel John Galton and Lucy Barclay, in 1827.1 He died on 14 January 1859, without issue.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, in 1805 with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)1 He was a physician between 1812 and 1835 at Birmingham General Hospital, Birmingham, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 In 1828 he founded the Birmingham School of Medicine and Surgery.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.1 He was the Principa in 1856 at Queen's College, Birmingham, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Brush House, Rotherham, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1
