     Daisy Finola Meeking also went by the nick-name of Daisy.¹ From 20 April 1921, her married name became Cocks. She was Chief Commissioner of the Girl Guides Association between 1943 and 1949.¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1950.¹

     Hon. Elizabeth Violet Virginia Cocks was born on 24 October 1922.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Herbert Tennyson Cocks, 6th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham and Daisy Finola Meeking.² She married Major Benjamin Alexander Frederick Hervey-Bathurst, son of Sir Frederick Edward William Hervey-Bathurst, 5th Bt. and Katharine Mary Delicia Dick-Cunyngham, on 28 February 1947.¹ She died in 1986.²
     She gained the rank of 3rd Officer in the Women's Royal Naval Service.¹ From 28 February 1947, her married name became Hervey-Bathurst.

     Major Benjamin Alexander Frederick Hervey-Bathurst was born on 27 March 1920.² He was the son of Sir Frederick Edward William Hervey-Bathurst, 5th Bt. and Katharine Mary Delicia Dick-Cunyngham.² He married, firstly, Hon. Elizabeth Violet Virginia Cocks, daughter of Arthur Herbert Tennyson Cocks, 6th Lord Sommers, Baron of Evesham and Daisy Finola Meeking, on 28 February 1947.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Garnier, daughter of Reverend Thomas Vernon Garnier and Helen Stenhouse, in 1992.³ He died on 18 October 1997 at age 77.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War, |where he was mentioned in despatches twice and was wounded.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1940 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards and Special Forces.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Herefordshire in 1967.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1985.²

     Isabel Joan Cocks was born on 21 October 1884.¹ She was the daughter of Herbert Haldane Somers Cocks and Blanche Margaret Standish Clogstoun.² She died on 4 November 1885 at age 1.¹
