     Sir William Paget-Bowman, 2nd Bt. was born on 25 September 1845.¹ He was the son of Sir William Bowman, 1st Bt. and Harriet Paget.² He married Emily Frances Swabey, daughter of William Swabey, on 9 August 1870.¹ He died on 7 January 1917 at age 71.²
     He was given the name of William Bowman at birth.¹ He graduated from University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ His name was legally changed to William Paget-Bowman.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He was a director of the Clergy Mutual Assurance Society.¹ He was Registrar of the Corporation of Sons of Clergy.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bowman, of Holmbury St. Mary, co.
