     Sir Fergus Macdowall, 3rd of Garochloyne is the son of Dougall Macdougall, 2nd of Garochloyne.2
     He was appointed Knight by King David II.3 He later witnessed many charters, including one conveying Sir Fergus's lands to his heir.3 He held the office of Sheriff Depute for the Constabulary of Kirkcudbright.3 In 1414 Battle of Homildon.3

     Captain Henry Forster was born in October 1789.1 He was the son of John Forster and Elizabeth Drake-Brockman.1 He married, firstly, Harriet Elizabeth FitzGibbon, daughter of Thomas FitzGibbon, in 1825.1 He married, secondly, Catharine Eliza Birch, daughter of George Birch and Catharine Brett, on 7 March 1846 at York, Yorkshire, England.2 He died in 1855.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.1 He fought in the Peninsular Wars.1 He fought in the Battle of Waterloo, where he was wounded.1 He also had one other daughter.1
