     Hon. Richard Thomas Rowley was born in 1812 at Bodrhyddan Hall, Rhuddlan, Flintshire, WalesG.1 He was the son of Clotworthy Rowley, 1st Baron Langford of Summerhill and Frances Rowley.2,3 He married, firstly, Charlotte Shipley, daughter of Lt.-Col. William Shipley and Charlotte Williams-Wynn, on 24 June 1835.1 He married, secondly, Alice Henrietta Berners, daughter of Captain Hugh Berners and Julia Alice Ashton, on 9 July 1872 at St. George Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 11 November 1887.3
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Guards.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich between 1860 and 1865.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Flintshire.3 He gained the rank of Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Battalion, King's Royal Rifle Corps.3

     Conwy Grenville Hercules Rowley-Conwy was born on 6 January 1841.1 He was the son of Hon. Richard Thomas Rowley and Charlotte Shipley.2 He married Marian Harford, daughter of Frederick Paul Harford, on 20 May 1869.3 He died on 18 January 1900 at age 59.1
     He was given the name of Conwy Grenville Hercules Rowley at birth.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Life Guards.1 In 1871 his name was legally changed to Conwy Grenville Hercules Rowley-Conwy.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1876.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Flintshire.1 He lived at Bodrhyddan, Flintshire, Wales.1

     Gwenwydd Frances Rowley was born circa 1838 at Bodrhyddan Hall, Rhuddlan, Flintshire, WalesG.2 She was the daughter of Hon. Richard Thomas Rowley and Charlotte Shipley.2,3 She married, firstly, Hamilton Sandford Pakenham, son of Very Rev. Hon. Henry Pakenham and Eliza Catherine Sandford, on 15 September 1864.3 She married, secondly, Hugh Henry Erskine, son of Sir David Erskine of Cambo, 1st Bt. and Jane Silence Williams, on 2 January 1866.3 She died on 8 June 1892.3 She was also reported to have died on 8 June 1932.1
     From 15 September 1864, her married name became Pakenham. From 2 January 1866, her married name became Erskine.

     Evfah Penelope Rowley was the daughter of Hon. Richard Thomas Rowley and Charlotte Shipley.2 She married Admiral Leveson Eliot Henry Somerset, son of Rt. Hon. Lord Granville Charles Henry Somerset and Hon. Emily Smith, on 11 January 1872 at Wales.3,1 She died on 29 December 1904, without issue.3
     From 11 January 1872, her married name became Somerset.

     Very Rev. William Davies Shipley was born on 5 October 1745 at Midgham, Berkshire, England.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Jonathan Shipley and Anna Maria Mordaunt.3,2 He married Penelope Yonge, daughter of Ellis Yonge and Penelope Conwy Stapleton, in 1777 at Saint Asaph, Flintshire, WalesG.4,5 He died in 1826.4
     He held the office of Dean of St. Asaph between 1774 and 1826.3
