     Muriel Calder was the daughter of John Calder of Calder.2 She married Sir John Campbell, 1st of Cawdor, son of Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll and Lady Elizabeth Stuart, circa 1510.1 She died circa 1575.1
     From circa 1510, her married name became Campbell.1

     Archibald Campbell, 2nd of Cawdor was the son of Sir John Campbell, 1st of Cawdor and Muriel Calder.2 He married Isobel Grant, daughter of James Grant, 3rd of Freuchie and Elizabeth Forbes, before 1543.2 He died in December 1551.1

     John Campbell, 3rd of Cawdor was the son of Archibald Campbell, 2nd of Cawdor and Isobel Grant.2 He married, firstly, Lady Mary Keith, daughter of William Keith, 3rd Earl Marischal and Margaret Keith, in 1575.1 He married, secondly, Janet Lauder, daughter of Robert Lauder of the Bass and Alison Cranstoun.1 He died in February 1591, killed by Campbell of Ardkinglass.1
