     Charles Alfred St. John Peter Harmsworth was born on 6 July 1914.1 He was the son of Vyvyan George Harmsworth and Constance Gwendolen Mary Catt.1 He married Nancy (?) on 16 December 1935.1 He died on 9 April 1943 at age 28 at North AfricaG, killed in action.1
     Charles Alfred St. John Peter Harmsworth usually went by his middle name of Peter.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Welsh Guards (Special Reserve.)1

     Major Vyvyan Peter Wilfrid Harmsworth was born posthumously on 27 August 1943.1 He is the son of Charles Alfred St. John Peter Harmsworth and Nancy (?)1 He married Alexandra Melikoff, daughter of Princess Juliet Melikoff, on 12 May 1977.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Welsh Guards.1 He was Temporary Equerry to HRH The Duke of Edinburgh between 1973 and 1976.1 He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1977.1
