Admiral Henry Loftus Tottenham was born on 7 August 1860.1 He was the son of John Francis Tottenham and Laura Ellen Dodd Janverin.2 He married Florence Elizabeth Coles, daughter of Thomas Coles, on 9 November 1897.1 He died on 24 February 1950 at age 89.1
