Hon. Rosalinda Laetitia Butler1

     Hon. Rosalinda Laetitia Butler was born on 24 January 1881.1 She was the daughter of Robert St. John FitzWalter Butler, 16th/26th Baron Dunboyne and Caroline Maude Blanche Probyn.1 She married Captain John Colthurst Bowen-Colthurst, son of Robert Walter Travers Bowen-Colthurst and Georgina de Bellasis Greer, on 2 April 1910.1 She died on 1 August 1940 at age 59.1
     From 2 April 1910, her married name became Bowen-Colthurst.

Robert Walter Travers Bowen-Colthurst1

     Robert Walter Travers Bowen-Colthurst was born on 16 March 1840.2 He was the son of John Bowen and Mary Honner.3 He married Georgina de Bellasis Greer, daughter of Alfred Greer and Peggy Colthurst, on 15 August 1878.2 He died on 16 November 1896 at age 56.2
     He was given the name of Robert Walter Travers Bowen at birth.2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)3 On 9 December 1882 his name was legally changed to Robert Walter Travers Bowen-Colthurst by Royal Licence.2 He lived at Oak Grove, County Cork, IrelandG.1 He lived at Dripsey Castle, County Cork, IrelandG.2

Captain John Colthurst Bowen-Colthurst1

     Captain John Colthurst Bowen-Colthurst was born on 12 August 1880.2 He was the son of Robert Walter Travers Bowen-Colthurst and Georgina de Bellasis Greer.1,2 He married Hon. Rosalinda Laetitia Butler, daughter of Robert St. John FitzWalter Butler, 16th/26th Baron Dunboyne and Caroline Maude Blanche Probyn, on 2 April 1910.1 He died in December 1965 at age 85.2
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the 2nd Royal Irish Rifles.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1902.2 He fought in the Tibet Expedition in 1904.2 He fought in the First World War, where he suffered shell-shock.2 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)2 He was on duty in Dublin during the Easter Rising, and ordered the shooting of a Francis Sheehy-Skeffington (a noncombatant pacifist endeavouring to stop looting.)2 He was found guilty of the triple murder of Skeffington, Thomas Dickson and Fred Mcintyre. He was also judged to be mentally deranged and spent several years in a U.K. mental institution.2,3 He emigrated to Montreal, Quebec, CanadaG, arriving on 7 May 1919 on board SS Tunisian.2,3 He lived at Terrace, British Columbia, CanadaG.1

     Isolde Butler Tower was the daughter of Francis Fitzpatrick Tower and Laura Butler.1 She married FitzWalter George Probyn Butler, 17th/27th Baron Dunboyne, son of Robert St. John FitzWalter Butler, 16th/26th Baron Dunboyne and Caroline Maude Blanche Probyn, on 26 July 1915.1 She died on 26 May 1977.
     After her marriage, Isolde Butler Tower was styled as Baroness Dunboyne on 26 July 1915. From 26 July 1915, her married name became Butler.
