     Sir Isaac Lyon Goldsmid, 1st Bt. was born on 13 January 1778.3 He was the son of Aaron Asher Goldsmid and Rachel Keyser.1,4 He married Isabel Beila Goldsmid, daughter of Abraham Goldsmid, on 29 April 1804 at London, England.5 He died on 27 April 1859 at age 81 at Marylebone, London, England.3
     He was created 1st Baron de Palmeira [Portugal].3 He was created 1st Baron de Goldsmid [Portugal].3 He was created 1st Baronet Goldsmid [U.K.] on 15 October 1841.3 In 1846 he was authorised by Royal Licence to use his Portuguese honours in the U.K.3

     Oscar Theodore Barrow was born on 7 March 1854 at Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A.1,2 He was the son of Jacob Barrow and Julia Bennett.1,2 He married Helen Emma Winefride Reynolds, daughter of Reginald Reynolds, on 1 March 1888 at St. Peter Apostle Catholic Church, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England.1,2 He died on 5 November 1937 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Beaumaris Grammar School, Beaumaris, Anglesey, WalesG.1 He was educated at Gloucester School, Gloucester, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1 He entered the Indian Civil Service in 1875.1 He was the Deputy Accountant-General in 1887 at Bombay, IndiaG.1 He was the Officiating Accountant-General and Deputy Commissioner, Paper Currency, Northwest Provinces in 1888.1 He held the office of Accountant-General for Bengal in 1891.1 He held the office of Accountant-General for Bombay in 1894.1 He was appointed Fellow in 1896 at Bombay University, Bombay, IndiaG.1 He held the office of Comptroller and Auditor-General for Calcutta between 1906 and 1911.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.) in 1907.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.1
