     Colonel Charles Edward Kirwan Bagot was born on 3 June 1895.1 He was the son of Charles Henry Bagot and Georgina Louisa Osborne.2 He married Frances Isobel Finetta James, daughter of John Angell James, on 22 November 1928.1 He died on 2 July 1976 at age 81 at Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.3
     He was educated at Royal School Armagh, College Hill, County Armagh, IrelandG.1 He was educated at Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, Roslin, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1 He was commissioned in 1915, in the service of the Connaught Rangers.1 He fought in the First World War between 1915 and 1918, he was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1916.1 He was transfered to the Gloucester Regiment in 1922.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He was the Commander of the 1st Battalion Gloucester Regiment in 1942 at BurmaG, he was mentioned in despatches.1 He was a General Staff Officer of the 2nd British Division in 1942 at IndiaG.1 He was a General Staff Officer of the 20th Indian Division in 1943 in Sri LankaG.1 He retired from the military in 1947, with the rank of Colonel.1 Colonel Charles Edward Kirwan Bagot lived at Greengates, Painswick, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.1

     From 22 November 1928, her married name became Bagot.1
