     Charles Henry Cotter was born in 1898.¹ He was the son of Joseph Henry Cotter and Ethel Mary Cotter.² He married Louise Ray, daughter of John Wesley Ray, in 1924.¹ He died in 1976.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Field Artillery (Special Reserves.)¹
