Thomas Clapton was born in 1880.2 He was the son of Nathaniel Clapton.2 He married Mildred Alice Ashburner, daughter of Lionel Robert Ashburner and Emily Caroline Haggard, on 1 December 1909 at Madras, IndiaG.2 He died on 14 January 1919.3 He was buried at Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John County, New Brunswick, CanadaG.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.1 He lived at Village House, Brasted, Westerham, Kent, EnglandG.3

     Major Thomas Lionel Ashburner Clapton was born on 29 March 1912 at Battle, Sussex, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Lt.-Cdr. Thomas Clapton and Mildred Alice Ashburner.3,4 He married Grizel Rosemary Cochrane, daughter of Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane and Maye Amélie Lucile Brooke, in 1941.1 He died on 12 June 1944 at age 32 at Normandy, FranceG, killed in action.3,2
     He gained the rank of Major in the Durham Light Infantry.3 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Commander Sir Henry Francis Morton Peto, 3rd Bt. was born on 18 November 1889.2 He was the son of Morton Kelsall Peto and Olivia Georgiana Elizabeth Maude.2 He married, firstly, Edith Keene, daughter of George Berners Ruck Keene, on 16 July 1919.2 He married Grizel Rosemary Cochrane, daughter of Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane and Maye Amélie Lucile Brooke, on 14 September 1948.1 He married Grizel Rosemary Cochrane, daughter of Rear-Admiral Archibald Cochrane and Maye Amélie Lucile Brooke, on 14 September 1948.2 He died on 28 May 1978 at age 88.2
     Commander Sir Henry Francis Morton Peto, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of Francis.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Peto, of Sommerleyton, co.
