Baron Francis Patrick O'Neylane was born on 4 October 1671 at Dysert Castle, County Clare, IrelandG.1 He was the son of William O'Neylane and Catherine Fitzgerald.1 He married Barbara Browne, daughter of General Ulysses Browne and Annabella Fitzgerald.1 He died on 3 October 1734 at age 62 at Mantua, ItalyG.1
He was commander of the Citadel of Mantua.1 He gained the rank of Major-General in the 57th Infantry Regiment, Imperial Army of Austria.1 He gained the title of Baron O'Neylane [Holy Roman Empire].
